Diane Williams of Little House Needleworks is releasing a new 12-part series called Calendar Girls, with one new Calendar Girl for January through December. Each design will be released the month before, so January comes out in late December 2013.

Each design is stitched on Cashel (28 count) Clay Zweigart linen, with a stitch count of 46x67 (3.25x4.75 on 28 count). If you want to stitch them as ornaments or small stand-ups a Stitcher's Quarter (18x27) of the fabric will work or you can stitch them as one piece with a small margin (less than 2"). From that you can get12 ornaments cuts at 6x6.75. If you want to stitch them as individual framed pieces or as a 3x4 grid (3 across, 4 down) with more than a 2" margin, you'll need a Stitcher's Half from which you can get 12 cuts that are 9x9.

Calendar Girls use DMC floss:221, 420, 422, 434, 435, 437, 469, 470, 640, 676, 712, 730, 758, 801, 924, 926, 936, 950, 976, 977, 3012, 3013, 3023, 3031, 3041, 3722, 3802, 3828. If you're interested in having us swap these out for hand-dyed threads, contact us.

Zweigart Clay comes in Cashel (32 count) and Belfast (32 count). If you would prefer a hand-dyed fabric we suggest Lakeside Linens Pecan Butter or Meadow Rue (Regular or Vintage). The Vintage Lakeside Linens colors will give you more mottling, which you might like for the more open background.
