This lovely project provides excellent exposure to many fundamental English Goldwork techniques including invisible couching of Pearl Purl and Miliary, Over-stretching and wrappy of Pearl Purl, "S"-ing and "Z"-ing, seeding of Wire Check and Bright Check Purl, and parallel chipping of Smooth and Bright Check Purl over string padding. Secured Satin stitching combined with several needlepoint pattern stitches executed with twisted and over-dyed silks delicately compiment the metal threads. If you've ever wanted to learn some traditional English Goldwork with a contemporary twist this is a great piece. Lunch both days, line drawn canvas, kit with all your threads, stretcher bars & stitch guide are included in the class fee. You will need to bring your usual stitching supplies and a frame weight or stand to allow for two-handed stitching. |

There are no refunds for cancellation of Deborah's classes so please choose wisely before registering. If we have to cancel a class for any reason your class fee will be refunded, less kit fees.
