"Egg"cellent Anniversary Sale!

The shop will be 11 years old on Friday (March 27th) and the 11th anniversary is Steel so we thought you'd enjoy the play on words :-).

We will be holding our annual "Egg"cellent Anniversary sale Friday - Sunday this week. If you're not familiar with this sale we put discounts in plastic Easter Eggs and you pick an egg when you check out. Inside will be your discount - from 15% to 30% off most regular merchandise (fabric, threads, charts, notions, canvases & accessories). Books and Magazines will be 10% off. The sale is limited to in-stock items only and excludes items already on hold, already marked down, trunkshows, classes and finishing.

Mail order customers orders placed between March 27th and March 29th will have an "Egg"cellent egg pulled for them and that will be the discount for appropriate items from that order. The discount will be applied when we ship the order so it will not show up in your shopping cart.

Stop by and visit us during the sale, either in person, by phone or on-line and celebrate our 11th Anniversary!

Other March Events

Our  Easter trunk show from Associated Talents is out on display in the classroom. AT does a wide variety of needlepoint designs but we thought an Easter show was just the ticket for early Spring. We have baskets, carrots, eggs and all manner of Easter fun. Our Associated Talents Easter trunk show will continue through Easter.

We are offering a 10% discount for canvases purchased or ordered from the trunkshow while it's here.

Don't forget we are continuing our late Tuesday hours through May so if you have one evening we're open unitl 8pm. More time to shop or to come stitch for a bit.

In addition to the shop being 11 on Friday we celebrated 5 years in our current location last month - purple walls and all. Your continued patronage of the shop is appreciated.

Remember our Grab Bag for Food Donations offer - bring in non-perishable food items for donation and get a grab bag! We've been happy with the donations so far and given all the very old inventory we have that could use a good home - this is a win-win for us, for you and for the Alameda Food Bank. They have kindly loaned us a big, red bin that's by the door for food donations.
