Grace Rare Tea

We're big tea fans at the shop and the tea we serve is from Grace Rare Tea - Fancy Ceylon. Fancy Ceylon is from the high mountains of Nuwara Eliya, known for its fine aroma, coppery color and full flavor. Now, you can enjoy this tea at home. Purchase a tin the first time and then refills thereafter. We use the tea filters when we brew it so it makes clean up a snap. If you have a tall teapot, use the long filters.

We also carry a 5 tea set where each tea comes in a 2 oz tin. It's a great way to sample 5 different teas. The pack we've selected includes: Assam, China Yunnan, Oolong, Pinhead, Russian Caravan. Assam is an Indian tea packaged as an Irish Breakfast tea. China Yunnan is a well rounded black tea. Oolong is a special tea, hand-picked on small estates in northern Formosa only once a year when flavor is at its peak. Pinhead Gunpowder Pearl is rolled into tight pellets that resemble gunpowder of yore and is the finest of all China green teas. It brews a clear amber liquor with a light fragrance and a clean, lively, bright taste. Russian Caravan is from China and is Scented/Flavored Tea with a smoky flavor (not quite as smoky as Lapsang Souchong).

A great accompinement to your tea experience is the wonderful Tea Time magazine from the publisher of Just Cross Stitch and Southern Lady..
