We keep a portion of the fabrics listed here in inventory, although not every single one. Please note - this is NOT a real-time inventory system and being able to add a fabric to your cart does not imply that we have it in stock. If you have deadline please make a note of that in the appropriate field or give us a call if you need us to check what we have in stock. We will notify you if a fabric needs to be ordered and give you an ETA.

Even in 2023 COVID-19 continues to play havoc on all our suppliers. If we do not have an fabric in stock it can take anywhere from 3-18 months to get. Hand-dyed fabrics are taking generally 9-18 months. If a fabric color is not currently in the mill queue for Zweigart or Wichelt it can be a year or two. We ask for your patience during these challenging times. We do expect this disruption to last into 2024.

If you are willing to take a substitute, in type of fabric, color or count, indicate that in the Special Instructions. It can mean finding something in stock or that we can easily getting vs. waiting.

Shipping is based on weight and is only an estimate. It will not be entirely accurate because we have to average the weight for the results of the search. We will calculate the shipping when we package it. If you need a shipping total before we ship your order, please make a note of that in the Special Instructions.

Place a checkmark in the Serge/Tape Fabric box if you wish to have your fabric serged or your canvas taped before shipment. There is no charge for this service.

NOTICE: Fabric widths are generally accurate but vendors do sometimes change the widths. If you need a specific width please note your stitch count in the appropriate box below so we can ensure you get the correct cut of fabric. Please see our main Fabric page for details on how we cut fabric.

PRICE UPDATES: When we process your order the price may be higher than noted in the on-line catalog. Prices continue to rise when we order fabric, sometimes by quite a bit. We reserve the right to charge the new price. If that is not acceptable do please contact us to confirm a specific price and availability before ordering.

While we have photos of many of the fabrics we carry which you may use as a general reference, we do NOT recommend making a color choice based on the photos.
Dyelots change over time, sometimes by a substantial amount and photos are not updated with any regularity. Monitors also display color differently.
If you are trying to match a color, or need specific color(s), we suggest giving us a reference like DMC or Anchor for us to match to or send us a sample.
Then we can see what we have in current dyelots that might work for you.
