Embellishments are more popular than ever and we have a wide variety in stock: buttons, beads, pins, charms and ribbons.

We stock all the Mill Hill regular beads, Treasures are special order only and currently Magnifica beads are not available.

We stock most of the size 11 and 14 Sundance Beads as well. For other companies we carry a selection but not necessarily all of their line.

We can order the embellishment/completer packs many of  the cross-stitch designers who have them. Feel free to contact us to see if what you want is in stock or if we can order it.

Frames

We do not stock frames but can special order frames from Mill Hill, which makes a number of frames for their projects.

Every needleworker should have a selection of tools (or "toys") and other accessories at their disposal. We carry a selection of hand turned wood needlecases, laying tools and laying tool cases.

If you're looking for ways to tote your needlework around, we have a selection of bags from small to large. There are small sewing cases for tools, small and mid sized bags for needlework and large bags you can fit the family pet in (although we don't suggest you do that :-)). The selection changes regularly come in to see what we have or you can order one online on our Gifts page and have it made with your colors.

We have K's Creations floor and lap stands as well as their belt frames and can special order any of their products we don't have in stock. If you are not on the west coast we can arrange drop shipment to you from K's Creations for your floor stand.  We stock Needlework System 4 stands and accessories and can also arrange drop shipment for your order if we don't have it in stock or you are on the east coast.

If you're looking for scroll frames we carry Rola-Frame and K's Creations. 

Excellent for use with canvas designs are the regular and mini stretcher bars, in sizes from 4 in to 36 in.We also carry most of the sizes of Evertite bars. If embroidery hoops are what you're looking for we recommend the line of Hardwicke Manor hoops from Germany distributed in the US by Access Commodities. The wood is exceptionally smooth and the range of sizes can accommodate very small to large projects.

Needles

Certainly the most important tool for any needle worker is your needle. Our favorite needles are made by Bohin, a French company. They are very smooth and we also sell them in bulk packs of 10 or 25 making them very affordable when you want to stock up. We carry their Beading & Embroidery, Chenille and Tapestry needles. We also carry beading needles from Tulip (the most amazing Japanese beading needles). In addition we carry most of the same types of needle by  John James including their gold needles in available sizes. John James also has a gold version of their popular Petite Tapestry needles (shorter than normal).
