You'll find us at 2433 Mariner Square Loop, Suite 102, which is two blocks away from the Target store and Alameda Landing shopping center just off Webster. Please note, we are NOT in the shopping center, we are in a small office complex (Mash Mariner Square) at the corner of Mariner Square Loop, Marina Village Parkway and Mariner Square Drive (yes, it's a bit odd). Look for the stand of very tall redwood trees!

COVID-19 UPDATE

We are open for shipping and curbside pickup. You can place an online order and select Curbside Pickup if you do not want us to ship it. If you want to place an order over the phone or via e-mail, be sure to tell us you want curbside and give us your contact information. We are available by phone and for curbside pickup Tue-Sat 11-3pm.

Once we are comfortable with where the COVID-19 numbers are in our area, we will allow in-store visits by appointment through the end of 2020. With many of our customers in the at-risk group doing appointments means we can do a better job of keeping us all safe until a cure and/or vaccine is found. If you want to be on the list for an appointment when they become available, send us an e-mail with Appointment in the subject line.

2020 Finishing Deadline is September 1st!

With the impact COVID-19 has had on the finishing company we use, they have set the 2020 Christmas deadline for ALL items to September 1st. We are currently taking in finishing either by having you ship it to us or we are offering short 15 minutes finishing appointments.

You can purchase one of our silk/linen samplings packs for counted thread work mentioned in the video in our online catalog. Kit #1 for 46+ linen or Kit #2 for 36-40 count linen.

At Needle In A Haystack we specialize in hard-to-find needlework supplies with extensive selections in fabrics and threads. We carry cross-stitch and counted-thread designs by a wide range of designers, books on many forms of embroidery and a large selection of hand-painted needlepoint canvases, including Stitch 'n Zip Kits. While our fabrics and threads are listed online, our needlepoint and cross-stitch inventory is not. You're always welcome to visit us, call the shop or e-mail if you're looking for something specific.

It features only a fraction of what we carry in the store and you're welcome to contact us to see if we have an item you can't locate.

An oasis from the rush of daily life, we try to make our store like a home away from home. Our courtyard has trees, grass & picnic tables where you can enjoy some outside stitching or just taking a much needed break. After COVID-19 we hope to once again welcome you to stop by the shop, share a pot of tea with us and sit and stitch a while.

There is a parking lot on the Mariner Square Drive side of the complex (courtyard side) and on the back of the complex off Mariner Square Loop. There is no dedicated Handicapped parking but the best parking for wheelchair access is on the lot off Mariner Square Loop. We have a door on both sides of our building.
